What you can expect from us

You will become part of the Northwave Germany team and can fully develop your interests and skills. Depending on your previous knowledge and personal goals, you will join our Cyber Security team at Northwave and become a full team member from day one. We will also support you during your 12-month Master's programme at Lancaster University Leipzig. With your Master's degree in Cyber Security, you will not only have in-depth technical knowledge, but will also have gained practical experience to advance your career at Northwave.

Contract

First things first: you will receive a permanent employment contract with 30 days holiday per year. Let's discuss how you can reconcile your working hours and your Master's degree programme. We offer various part-time models and flexible working time arrangements.

Master's program

We pay the fees for the 12-month Master's programme at Lancaster University Leipzig. As part of our FeedForward Cycle, you will also discuss with your manager what else you need for your development and how we can support you.

Team

It is important to us to respect and value each other - as professionals and as people. The best way to get to know your 230+ colleagues from the Netherlands and Germany is to take part in one of our many activities, such as our annual trip to the theme park.

Equipment

You will be equipped with a modern MacBook and iPhone. We have height-adjustable desks in our offices and our CEO loves to kit us out with merchandise ;-)

Depending on how much traveling your position requires, we offer various mobility solutions for you to choose from. Let's talk about it.

What else...

12-Month Top British Master's Degree In Germany

The programme starts in October 2024 at the Lancaster Campus in Leipzig. Admission to the Master's program is decided by the university.

The most important thing for us is that you fit into the team and are keen to help shape and advance Northwave. Of course, we also have a few technical requirements for this position.

Education

You already have a Bachelor's degree or a diploma, e.g. in (business) computer science and fulfill the admission requirements for the Master's degree program in Cyber Security at Lancaster University Leipzig.

Knowledge and experience

You already have several years of professional experience in information security, e.g. as an information security officer or person responsible for IT security at your company. You also have sound IT knowledge that you can apply both in practice and in academic discourse.

Other strengths

You have an independent and structured way of working. You also speak good to very good German and English.
