Head of Professional Security Services (M/W/D)

As part of the scaling phase of Northwave Deutschland GmbH and the development of the management team, we are looking for a dedicated Head of Professional Security Services.
As Head of Professional Security Services you will be part of the Northwave Germany management team and report directly to the management. You will work in close coordination with the other departments in Germany and the Netherlands.
The framework conditions for marketing, product development and commercialisation are created from our headquarters in Utrecht. You have a clear vision for the further development of the company and take an active role.

Your mission

You are responsible for the expansion and further development of our security projects portfolio in the DACH region and lead a team of security experts. What exactly does that mean? Well...

Our Business, Bytes and Behaviour projects are ready to operate independently in the DACH region. This includes ISO certifications, resilience workshops, crisis training and red team assessments. In close coordination with the teams in the Netherlands, you will pursue the increasing independence of the German branch. You will be responsible for setting up and managing the project teams to ensure a smooth and efficient way of working, always with the aim of integrating our services. Because that's what Northwave is all about. You are responsible for the quality of the projects and ensure that we always meet the highest standards. At the same time, you will recognise potential for scaling and further development and implement this successfully. You design the range of services and ensure that our portfolio can seamlessly connect to the German market and its requirements. You will identify opportunities for security projects and realise them together with the sales team.

You will lead a continuously growing team of Northwaver employees. You promote the further development of your team members and conduct development discussions with them. When selecting new team members, you emphasize cultural fit.

In this position you are also responsible for the annual planning and keep track of the (financial) figures and targets. You will actively seek collaboration with other European teams within Northwave so that we can realise our vision together.
The location for this role is within the DACH region. Our DACH headquarters are located in Leipzig. However, we also have teams in Hamburg, the Ruhr area and Vienna.

You have an inspiring and cooperative leadership style and can clearly communicate and implement your visions. In addition, you have the ability and desire to build and lead a team to success and at the same time regularly report to the board of our customers as a management expert. Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
