What you do
As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you play a pivotal role in helping Northwave as the current leader in risk-based, intel-driven cyber security. This is a diverse role where you will be helping both Northwave and our clients with continuous insights in the current threat landscape, enabling well informed decision-making. With your up-to-date knowledge you provide crucial input for mitigating cyber threats and risks. Furthermore, you assist our Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) during incidents by providing them with the intelligence needed.
You Enjoy
- Monitoring and analyzing threat information from various sources.
- Creating actionable threat intelligence products for clients (e.g., reports, alerts).
- Influencing threat mitigation strategies.
- Consolidating threat intelligence feeds and sources.
- Operating threat intelligence platforms (MISP & OpenCTI).
- Supporting cybersecurity teams during security incidents.
- Tracking threat actors and their evolving tactics.
- Researching malicious attacker infrastructure.
The team
You'll join the Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC), a team of product managers, threat intelligence analysts, and researchers. From here, you'll support operational teams with threat intelligence, innovation, and product development. Close collaboration between analysts and product managers allows us to build products based on the latest intelligence and prioritized risks. You'll also work closely with marketing, sales, and other operational teams.

Job requirements
- Master's degree in IT (cybersecurity) or a relevant field (proven self-taught experience is also considered).
- Strong teamwork, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proactive, self-starting attitude; willingness to go beyond your role.
- Technical skills: data source normalization, automation creation, data mining/analytical automation, data correlation workflows (e.g., using Python/BASH).
- Continuous learning mindset; ability to thrive outside your comfort zone.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- A resident of The Netherlands
