Job description
About Northwave
As a leading European Cyber Security specialist, we have been providing 24*7 cyber security services for over 17 years. We not only look at the technology, but also at human behavior and processes within the organization, and thus provide integral security services. Organizations that take their cyber security seriously therefore like to work with us. We take the complexity of cyber security management out of their hands, but they remain in control.
We are a fast-growing organization of 275+ employees, which is the market leader in the field of information security. Our 100% self-financed European company has the mission to make high-quality integral information security accessible to organizations that depend on their digital business. Northwave stands for diversity, inclusivity, quality and long-term relationships.
Your Mission
As a Consulting CISO, you are responsible for the implementation and execution of security management at Northwave´s customers. You take the lead and ensure that the customer has their security under control. You do this for several customers at the same time.
You ensure that the customer's security management is guaranteed in a continuous PDCA cycle, know the greatest risks and create an action plan with the necessary measures. This is based on a holistic approach to security. You know when the customer needs additional technical or human measures and involve your colleagues from the Bytes and Behavior teams. Your customers can focus on their core business as you support them with the necessary security measures.
In addition to your client work, you will lead a small team of business consultants. You keep an eye on the project pipelines, increase efficiency, maintain the exchange with other teams within Northwave and report to the DACH management. You will also play an active role in shaping the further development of our services. You think outside the box and find the connection between processes, technology and people - or as we call it: Business, Bytes, Behavior.
What can you expect from us?
Contract
First things first: you will receive a permanent employment contract with 30 days' holiday per year. You can organise your own working hours in consultation with your colleagues and customers.
Development
What do you want to achieve and what support do you need? You will receive regular training and support in achieving your professional goals. You can also develop further within Northwave.
Team
It is important to us to respect and value each other - as professionals and as people. The best way to get to know your 275+ colleagues is to take part in one of our many activities, e.g. a joined trip to the theme park.
Equipment
You will be equipped with a modern MacBook and iPhone. We have height-adjustable desks in our offices and our CEO loves to kit us out with merchandise ;-)
Mobility
In order to be mobile at all times, you will receive either a company car or a BahnCard 100 (also for private use).
what else...
No, the fruit basket in the office is not a benefit for us, but a matter of course - just like coffee, tea and lemonade. Have you ever tried Dutch caramel waffles?
Job requirements
The most important thing for us is that you fit into the team and are keen to help shape and advance Northwave. Of course, we also have a few technical requirements for this position.
Education
Do you have a relevant degree, e.g. in business administration, business informatics, security management or similar? Ideally, you have additional qualifications in (e.g. lead auditor).
Knowledge and experience
Do you have extensive professional experience in the areas of information security, risk management and profound experience as business consultant? At best you already bring leadership experience.
Other strengths
You combine strong business insight with leadership skills to effectively boost efficiency and impact. You enjoy working hands-on, both on concepts and on their implementation in close dialogue with your customers and colleagues. You work independently and in a well-structured manner. You have very good German and good English skills.
