Job description
About Northwave
At Northwave, more than 275 passionate cybersecurity specialists work on groundbreaking solutions that help organisations make tangible progress.
We combine ethical hacking with behavioral psychology and top-level security management. We respond to threats and anticipate them with 24/7 managed security services and specialized, tailor-made solutions for every client.
When you become part of Northwave, you step into a world where innovation and results go hand in hand. Whether you excel in technical security testing or strategic client conversations, with us you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of digital security and make a real difference.
Your Mission
As a Channel Sales Manager, you are the link between our cybersecurity portfolio and our MSP partner network. You are responsible for actively developing, supporting, and driving MSPs that want to market our Managed XDR services (Extended Detection & Response). Your focus will be on contracting new MSPs and resellers. You build sustainable relationships, translate our technological proposition into commercial opportunities, help partners successfully position our solution within their portfolio, and develop joint growth strategies that contribute to the success of both our partners and our organization.
What You Will Do
Actively build new relationships while maintaining and strengthening existing ones with MSPs.
Inspire and activate MSPs to offer our reseller services to their end customers.
Draft partner plans, sales enablement materials, and joint go-to-market strategies.
Identify commercial opportunities within the MSP channel and convert them into concrete sales trajectories.
Coordinate (pre)sales support for MSPs, including demos, RFP responses, and client presentations.
Act as a sparring partner for MSPs on technical and commercial aspects of our reseller portfolio.
Report on progress, pipeline, and forecasts to internal stakeholders.
What can you expect from us?
Contract
First things first: you will receive a permanent employment contract with 30 days' holiday per year. You can organise your own working hours in consultation with your colleagues and customers.
Development
What do you want to achieve and what support do you need? You will receive regular training and support in achieving your professional goals. You can also develop further within Northwave.
Team
It is important to us to respect and value each other - as professionals and as people. The best way to get to know your 275+ colleagues from the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Sweden is to take part in one of our many activities, such as a trip to the theme park.
Equipment
You will be equipped with a modern MacBook and iPhone. We have height-adjustable desks in our offices and high quality merch. 😄
Mobility
A company car, also for private use, is a matter of course in this position. Of course, we also pay travelling allowances.
What else...
No, the fruit basket in the office is not a benefit for us, but a matter of course - just like coffee, tea and lemonade. Have you ever tried Dutch caramel waffles?
Job requirements
The most important thing for us is that you fit into the team and are keen to help shape and advance Northwave. Of course, we also have a few technical requirements for this position.
You have at least 3 years of experience as a Partner Manager or Channel Manager within IT or cybersecurity and are familiar with MSP models, recurring services, and managed security. Profound knowledge of or experience with XDR / SOC services / EDR / SIEM is preferred as well as experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel / Defender.
You are commercially strong, relationship-oriented, and understand how to support MSPs in their business model. With your independent, proactive personality you communicative easily with both technical and commercial audiences. On top, you hold a relevant degree in IT, Business Administration or similar and speak fluent German and English.
