About Northwave
Northwave consists of 250 enthusiastic professionals in the areas of ethical hacking, behavioural psychology, security management, reverse engineering, audit, privacy, forensics, monitoring, and others. We apply our expertise to help our clients have a safe digital journey, by securing their business with them through managed services (security office, 24/7 SOC, cybersafe behaviour) and projects (advisory, security testing, resilience).
The role
As Account Manager, your role involves managing relationships with existing customers, maintaining satisfaction levels, identifying new opportunities, and converting cross- and upsell opportunities.
You serve as the sparring partner for a set of clients within a specific sector, acting as the primary commercial point of contact from the moment the client contracts one or more managed services from us. While your colleagues in the new business team handle the acquisition of new customers, your focus lies in understanding our clients' business risks and taking an integral approach to help them become and stay cyber secure.
Your responsibilities include convincingly presenting the Northwave portfolio, proactively identifying sales opportunities,and leveraging your conviction that our solutions genuinely benefit the customer. Staying informed about the ever-evolving cybersecurity market and new threats, you guide your clients on their safe digital journey.
Additionally, you ensure we deliver on our promises by monitoring that we uphold our commitment to transparency.Collaborating with colleagues from other teams, you handle quotations, customer presentations, and contracts. Your attention to detail ensures a seamless transfer to other teams and smooth sales operations.
The Team
Within all teams at Northwave, there is a drive to continuously improve ourselves. The sales team is essential in this,working daily to build our strong reputation and clear proposition. They focus on customers within the Benelux. It is important to us to be a reliable and strategic partner for our customers. You report to our Director Sales and work closely with Inside Sales and the New Business Managers. The sales team consists of 14 colleagues in total.

Job requirements
- Several years of working experience in a similar position, preferably within the field of Cybersecurity services
- A relevant HBO/WO education
- Good time management skills
- An independent and structured way of working
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
