  • Maintain and evolve the SOC improvement roadmap, including the automation efforts

  • Initiate improvements that extend beyond the SOC team, influencing processes across the organization

  • Support and mentor junior and medior analysts on technical and non-technical issues

  • Contribute to strategic planning: help define year-plan items and long-term SOC objectives

  • Actively foster collaboration within the team and across departments

The team

You will be part of the SOC Operations team, working with enthusiastic security analysts from diverse backgrounds. With access to expertise across Northwave, you’ll collaborate with specialists in IT Security, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence, allowing you to continuously develop your own skills and helping others grow.

You enjoy

  • A stimulating environment where you can make a real impact

  • Leading and mentoring others while staying hands-on with investigations

  • Driving continuous improvement and shaping SOC strategy

  • Collaborating with peers across disciplines

  • Staying ahead of evolving threats and technologies

What you can expect

  • A salary between € 4200 and € 5000, based on your knowledge and experience

  • MacBook, iPhone, and lease car

  • 25 vacation days

  • Good pension scheme

  • Company-wide courses and individual training opportunities to further develop yourself

  • 275 passionate colleagues to work with and learn from

  • Fun Northwave events and parties

Job requirements

  • Strong communication skills in English

  • An independent and structured way of working

  • 5 years of experience in a SOC or incident response role

  • Proven ability to lead initiatives and mentor team members

  • Deep knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and threat detection methodologies

  • You are a current resident of The Netherlands
