Job description

We are looking for you as  New Business Manager for the Northwave Deutschland GmbH.

Your Mission

In this key position, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. You will build and maintain a strong network of potential customers and partners and convince them not only of our products and services, but of Northwave as a whole. Your ability to build and maintain relationships is critical to establishing long-term partnerships and driving our growth in the DACH region. You will utilise your existing networks, but also build new relationships by, for example, appearing as a speaker, being active in industry associations and attending the right events.
Internally, you will work closely with your colleagues in the sales team, who will support you in getting the contract signed at the end. The marketing team and 275+ security enthusiasts will also support you in your work.

What can you expect from us?

Contract

First things first: you will receive a permanent employment contract with 30 days' holiday per year. You can organise your own working hours in consultation with your colleagues and customers.

Development

What do you want to achieve and what support do you need? You will receive regular training and support in achieving your professional goals. You can also develop further within Northwave.

Team

It is important to us to respect and value each other - as professionals and as people. The best way to get to know your 275+ colleagues from the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Sweden is to take part in one of our many activities, such as a trip to the theme park.

Equipment

You will be equipped with a modern MacBook and iPhone. We have height-adjustable desks in our offices and our CEO loves to kit us out with merchandise ;-)

Mobility

A company car, also for private use, is a matter of course in this position. Of course, we also pay travelling allowances.

what else...

No, the fruit basket in the office is not a benefit for us, but a matter of course - just like coffee, tea and lemonade. Have you ever tried Dutch caramel waffles?

Job requirements

The most important thing for us is that you fit into the team and are keen to help shape and advance Northwave. Of course, we also have a few technical requirements for this position.

Education

You have a relevant degree or vocational qualification, e.g. in business administration, business informatics, IT or similar.

Knowledge and experience

You have extensive professional experience in the sales environment or customer success management, ideally in the field of IT or cyber security. Even if you don't come from an IT background yourself, you´ve got technical understanding and an interest in cyber security. You have also been cultivating a network of decision-makers in the SME sector in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for years.

Other strengths

You are a natural at networking, well-structured and organized and often receive compliments for your professional, friendly manner, even in challenging situations. Even though you like to work independently, you always maintain good contact with your colleagues at headquarters and provide feedback and strategic input. You also have a very good command of German and English.
